QuickIM is a powerful instant messenger for Treo 600 / 650, Palm Tungsten / Zire and PalmOne LifeDrive, supporting the public MSN network.
It enables you to quickly exchange and send instant messages to other phone and PC users from anywhere without paying any ``per message` charge !
Plus, your messenger connects directly to the MSN instant messaging server which means it does not need to send/receive data back and forth as usual, therefore using less bandwith and data on your gprs/umts/w-cdma data option plan. This way you can save a great deal of data and money on your data option plan. Last but not least, we do not charge any annual subscription fee either.
Easy and features rich:
You only need to launch the application, enter your account login and connect to your favorite network server.
Once connected, you can:
Use a contact list on which you can see the status of your contacts and change their own
Use text or emoticons to communicate
Add or delete contacts from your contact list
Block a contact from seeing you in his/her buddy list for more privacy
Use and create quick text
Requirements:
• Palm OS 5.2 or superior
• MSN passport account or Hotmail account
• Internet connection such as gprs, w-cdma, umts or WIFI connection. It is usually available as an option from your mobile operator as a "data option" such as 5Mb monthly internet data transfer option. You can also use your WAP connection by using the Proxy server options along with the HTTP mode (see settings support)
